Travel safely with children

Every year, accidents and incidents occur because the important safety recommendations for how to ride elevators and escalators are not followed. Accidents can of course happen anyway, but by knowing the risks, we can together spread the knowledge to more people.

Children are particularly vulnerable and it is important that we adults take responsibility for their safety. The Swedish Elevator Association has produced films on how to travel safely with children. Together with our member companies, we are actively working to raise the level of safety when using and working with elevators and escalators.

You are welcome to share the films further if you wish!

Safety risks with older elevators

The elevator is one of the safest means of transportation available. However, depending on the type and age of the elevator, there are risks that can lead to crushing or falling accidents.
