Today, Xenter Vocational School runs Sweden's only higher education for elevator and escalator technicians. The education, which graduates around 30 technicians each year, is highly regarded and has a high status both within the industry and among students. The education is given on site in Tumba outside Stockholm and therefore primarily generates a contribution to the need for skills in the Stockholm area and the M\u00e4lardalen region, which is why the announcement of a complementary distance education is very gratifying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 The big advantage of distance learning is the increased opportunity for companies that are not located in the Stockholm area or M\u00e4lardalen to get hold of competent personnel, says Oskar Andersson, head teacher for the elevator technician training at Xenter Botkyrka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
