We asked Fredrik a few questions about why they are members and what he considers to be the Swedish Elevator Association&#039;s most important mission.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Motum Group was formed in 2014, but its history stretches back further than that. The oldest subsidiaries ITK, Hissgruppen and Uppsala Lyft were founded in the 1970s and 80s. Today, Motum is Sweden&#039;s largest independent elevator and door supplier with over 300 employees and 700 million in sales. Fredrik says about the importance of collaboration through an industry association:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 The Swedish Elevator Association gives us a platform to collaborate with other players in the industry. This is invaluable for us in Sweden to be at the forefront of development and meet the challenges of the future. Through the Swedish Elevator Association, we have the opportunity to influence industry issues and regulations in a positive direction. We can participate in consultation work, present our views and contribute to creating a safer elevator environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For member companies, there are also values in everyday life:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Swedish Elevator Association also offers us a range of support functions and resources, such as legal advice, courses and training, and industry information. This is valuable help in our everyday lives,\u201d says Fredrik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you want to contribute to the association&#039;s board?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 I believe that we can achieve much more if we work together than if we act alone. I want to contribute to a good culture of collaboration on the board and create an open and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome to contribute their ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fredrik is particularly passionate about a good working environment and safety, both for Motum&#039;s staff who work with elevators and for those who use elevators in their everyday lives. He also sees the supply of skills as an important industry-wide issue, a challenge we share with many other industries and where we must collaborate to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do you see the Swedish Transport Association in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 I am convinced that the Swedish Elevator Association has a bright future. We have a strong organization with committed members and competent staff.
