The Swedish Association of Lifts and Escalators, Hissf\u00f6rbundet, has been the Swedish trade association for companies that manufacture, install and maintain elevators and escalators since 1992. The member companies represent over 80% of the Swedish industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most important work takes place within the Technology and Safety Committee, the Communications Committee, the Education Committee and the management group for the YH education in Tumba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swedish Lift Association collaborates with authorities, inspection bodies and customers to carefully interpret and influence updates to technical regulations that affect the installation, maintenance and supervision of lifts and escalators. We are a reference body for Swedish authorities and through the European Lift Association (ELA) we also contribute actively at European level. Our commitment also includes participating in the public debate, where we inform politicians and the public about relevant issues within our sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All activities in the association are carried out in accordance with the Code of Conduct established by the European Lift Association (ELA).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Knowledge of elevators and escalators<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Swedish Elevator Association shares knowledge about elevators and escalators and works for high safety, high quality and high technical standards within the industry. Elevators and escalators are important means of transport that simplify our everyday lives and increase accessibility in our homes, at work and in our public environments.<\/p>\n
