The Elevator Association appeared on Sveriges Radio about how the shutdown of 2G and 3G networks could affect emergency telephones in elevators.
The sharply increased demand for data communication in particular requires newer technologies such as 4G and 5G. Therefore, a technology shift is underway as the 2G and 3G networks are being phased out.
