Kinds Electrical Engineering

Kinds Elteknik, based in Östra Frölunda, is a second-generation family business with over 40 years of experience in various automation solutions. The company was founded in 1974 by Agne Johansson. In 2015, his son, Andreas Björklund, took over the business, but Agne still works as a Senior Advisor.

Our primary business area is elevator control systems. We manufacture around 150 custom controls and 1000 standard controls per year, with the custom controls always tailored to the customer’s specifications. We make control equipment for all types of elevators – from food elevators to elevators for hospitals, oil rigs and ships. All control equipment is manufactured in-house in our electronics department and the control cabinets are also built here at Kinds.
