When animals and humans end up on opposite sides of the elevator door, very dangerous situations arise: The door sensors do not detect the narrow leashes, the door can then close and the elevator can move away. This poses a risk of serious crushing injuries and, in the worst case, strangulation of the animal.

That's why we at the Swedish Elevator Association have developed a warning sticker to put in elevators. Hopefully, together we can prevent more accidents from happening!
