Help someone up – remotely!
A new distance learning course for elevator technicians is an important step towards meeting the needs of the industry across Sweden. The application period closes on January 13, 2026. Please tell your network about this opportunity!
Xenter Vocational College in Tumba has previously run Sweden's only higher education for elevator and escalator technicians. The education, which graduates around 30 technicians each year, is highly regarded and has a high status both within the industry and among students. A supplementary distance education is highly anticipated among the Elevator Association's member companies around Sweden.
The majority of the training takes place remotely, but students will be on site in Tumba for just over nine weeks for the practical elements. The training also includes an internship, LIA, at a location of their choice for 20 weeks.
