The Swedish Elevator Association and our members contribute to a higher quality of life for people through increased accessibility in the built environment. We do this in various ways, including by raising the level of knowledge about accessibility issues within the industry and on the client side, and by working to clarify regulations and standards.
”An important path to a more accessible society is increased knowledge and collaboration.”.
– An important path to a more accessible society is increased knowledge and collaboration. We are actively working to contribute expertise and knowledge in accessibility, says Sara Berggren, Secretary General, Hissförbundet.
The Swedish Elevator Association is an ambassador for accessibility issues and the importance of our built environments in Sweden being safe and accessible. Homes and public buildings should be usable by everyone regardless of ability. This includes families with children with strollers, those who use wheelchairs or walkers, and those who have impaired vision or hearing.
Welcome to a more inclusive society.
