Reporting of accident statistics for 2025

Now is the time for the annual collection of statistics on accidents and serious incidents that have occurred during 2025, for workers and users of elevators and escalators.

To simplify reporting and reduce the administrative burden, members will this year only report the total number of accidents and incidents within each category (worker/user and elevator/escalator). Individual incidents do not need to be reported separately.

The collection of accident statistics is an important part of the Swedish Elevator Association's work to strengthen safety in the industry. The data also forms the basis for the annual reporting to the European industry association ELA.
