Fire protection – Elevators

In 2016, the Swedish Lifts Association, together with the Swedish Fire Protection Association, produced the book Fire protection – Elevators. The purpose of the book is to provide a better understanding of how elevator fire protection works and it should be a source of knowledge and work towards smoother work when designing fire protection for elevators.

Fire protection – Elevators is primarily aimed at property owners, fire protection managers, inspectors and lift suppliers who need information about how fire and lifts interact. The book is also aimed at designers, specialists and experts in the field; they can use it as an overview and as an aid in communication and correspondence with the client and the public.
